Who am I? Who Are You? Many Cultures, Many Colors: Diversity in Play Therapy

aaron-300x199We live in a colorful world with many different levels diversity. Play Therapists need a clearer understanding of diversity in themselves and in their communities so that children and families can feel safe with us to do the deeper work of healing. By improving diversity understanding and sensitivity we respect ourselves and others at the deepest levels. This workshop will present a model for understanding ourselves and others as well as effective play therapy strategies and techniques that take diversity issues into account with treatment planning and implementation. This workshop is presented with 2 play therapists and a diversity specialist.

 

This course is for: Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Professional Clinical Counselors.
