Playful Solutions to Serious Problems

179-300x200-1In this workshop participants will begin to integrate the theoretical information learned i in Introduction to Play Therapy with specific clinical issues and childhood disorders as found in the current DSM.   Participants will interact with each other to learn some treatment interventions that have been shown to be effective in the treatment of the specific issue or disorder.  Although this is not a technique focused class, participants will learn new and playful ways to interact with children and their families. This course meets one of the course requirements for basic play therapy education and becoming a registered Play Therapist.

 

This course is for: Marriage and Family Therapists, Social Workers, Licensed Clinical Social Workers and Professional Clinical Counselors.
